Spinner.com 과의 인터뷰에서 Byrne은 Talking Heads 초기시절의 공연은 열정적인 것보다는 의무적인 것이 더 많았다고 털어놓았다. “초창기에 스테이지에 끌려갔어요. 이는 개인적으로 정신적인 요구였고, 자아치료였고, 카타르시스적이었고, 꼭 필요했습니다. — 그러나 언제나 즐거운 것은 아니었어요. 그때는 지금보다 더 ‘통제 안 되는 또라이(control freak)’였죠.” 전문 보기
